Themed and constructed the back-end of a WordPress site from the ground up using CSS(3), jQuery for interactivity and Responsive Design for mobile compatability. Integrated Social Media like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram so that more visitors will share the topics they're interested in as well as SEO techniques for Wordpress.
Themed the Front-End using Fusion Subtheme from a Photoshop designed by Saemidori Designs, CSS and XHTML. Customized the look and feel of the site according to how they want sections to be defined. Each section has its own "style", which can be seen by the color changes.
Lots of Q&A between the designer and I, the developer/themer, to get exactly what they want out of the site. For that reason, made sure that adding contents to a section makes sense to a non-technical company and that user interface is straight forward.
Created design, themed from scratch (XHTML, CSS) and converted to Drupal for efficient content management.
It is a social networking site where people can upload pictures, videos, mangas and music. They are able to chat through built in messaging systems and post articles about any topics related to Asian media. Each user has specific roles for permission access to some files and pages. Banners designed by the community.
As a web developer, I've come across many different types of Content Management Systems (CMS for short). CMS is a web application that allows web publishers to easily manage their contents without the need to know how to code. It is the job of a web developer to make this possible for non-technical companies to have a professional looking website in order to gain more business.
